One of the most common difficulties of operating on Instagram is the inability to provide event links, product purchase links, and sign-up links in posts for fans. Fans can only get more comprehensive information by visiting the bio of business accounts. This creates a severe conversion gap and a significant loss of opportunities for converting fans into customers.
Let us help you fix this. You can use BotBonnie’s Instagram Post Comment Reply. Simply set the reply module to let fans leave messages and automatically receive related information. No other action is required for your brand/KOL business account and it’s super easy!
📌 Before starting the settings tutorial, please make sure that you have bound the Instagram business account to the BotBonnie console!

5. Select Auto Reply Conditions
BotBonnie provides two types of Auto Reply conditions — Default Reply Message and Conditional Reply. When a fan posts a reply below a post, the Auto Reply of the bot will be triggered based on the pre-set conditions.
- Default Reply Message: Regardless of the content of the fan’s comment, it will trigger an Auto Reply from the bot. Remember, you can only set one default reply.
- Conditional Reply: BotBonnie provides three types of conditions to create a diverse range of actions for campaigns. They include “contains any keywords,” “contains all keywords,” and “exactly match.” You can set multiple Conditional Replies at the same time.
New Default Reply
Let’s talk about how to set “Default Reply Message.” First, click “Add Default Reply” at the top right corner, and name the default reply below for subsequent tracking. The system has now set a default reply to all users who have left a comment. You don’t need to complete other settings and your “Default Reply Message” settings are complete.
New Conditional Reply
If you wish to use “Conditional Reply,” simply click “Add Conditional Reply” at the top right corner and edit the Conditional Reply. You can specify the content for three different conditions (contains any keywords, contains all keywords, and exact match).
How do you set eligible conditions? Enter keywords such as “I want this” or “lucky draw for sample” The messages that can trigger replies are as follows:
1.Contains any keywords: The comment must include keywords and other text are permitted. Example: “I want the lucky draw” or “lucky draw for a sample now.”
2. Contains all keywords: The comment must contain all specified keywords. Example: I want the lucky draw for the newest sample.”
3. Exact match: The comment must be completely identical to one set of keywords and the text must be exactly the same: “I want it” or “lucky draw for a sample.”
6. Add public/private response
Comment auto reply consists of public and private messages. Public message reply is in text message format while private message reply may include text, button, and quick reply formats. You can set one or more public/private messages for different scenarios:
If only one reply message is added, the public message and private message will be sent when a user leaves a comment in the post of the fan page. You can click “+ Add Public Message” to add a public reply message, and click “+ Add Private Message” to add a private reply message. After you complete editing, click “Save” at the bottom right corner to complete editing.
Scenario 2: Random Reply: Multiple public + private responses
If you add multiple responses, when the user leaves a message under the Facebook post, the bot system will randomly select one of them to reply to. By setting multiple responses, it can help you achieve a richer reply method that is closer to a real person, allowing you to post a reply that is more interesting!
Scenario 3: Combination Reply: Designated combination reply with public and private messages
In addition to the second set of random replies, you can check the “activate combination reply with public and private messages” next to the reply message to bind each public and private message together, as shown in the sample below. Example: “Public: private code” will be matched with “Private: 15% promo code,” “Public: Summer promo code” will be matched with “Private: Get new products.” If the “Public/Private Message Combination Reply” is not enabled, in the picture below, “Public: private promo code” may be matched with “Private: Get new products.”
This will allow fans to receive the designated public and private contents. You can thus create more diversified interactions.
